At the inaugural Youth Symposium, our Executive Director, spoke on advancing youth empowerment across East Africa. The focus being, Tackling unpaid care work through gender-responsive policies and economic empowerment. Under the theme “Empowering East African Youth: Advancing SRHR,” Ms. Okumu highlighted the role of our Young Urban Movement in addressing systemic challenges faced by youth and advancing health and economic opportunities
